Six Senses Nature is located close to the limit of the strict nature reserve Paljakka, Kainuu region, municipality of Puolanka.
The village center is 36 km away.
Paljakka is unique in its originality and diversity.
International flight to Helsinki Vantaa, connecting flight to Kajaani
We will pick you up in Kajaani and bring you to Six Senses Nature
(68 km).
What do you need here?
Curiosity and openness for something new, something other and old tradition!
Love of nature, joy of movement and some team spirit!
What else is helpful:
- outdoor and rainwear
- solid hiking boots and rubber boots
- bath shoes
- homeshoes or socks
- small backpack
- water bottle
- headlamp
- pocket knife
Remember that there is no electricity on site.
We make the charging of mobile phone and batteries possible.
Winter
What else do you need here in winter?
Joy of snow, not afraid of cold and absolute silence.
What's still helpful:
In addition to warm winter clothing, you need
- Thermo boots or higher winter shoes
- bath shoes
- warm slippers
- warm gloves and mittens, scarf, hat
- Thermal underwear and wool socks
- thermos
- daypack
- headlamp
- pocket knife
To make it a great winter experience for you, keep in mind:
- Composting toilet is located outside the yurt
- The yurt is cold in the morning and after the tours.
- Sauna and laundry facilities are located in the immediate vicinity of the yurts and is prepared and heated by the group.
- No running water (The water for washing is taken from the lake and heated in the sauna in the wood fire boiler)
- No electricity in the camp (recharge available in our cabin)
